Cinco de Mayo is only 3 days away, are you looking for a quick and easy recipe to add a little fun to your fiesta? How about a Cinco de Mayo inspired Jello Salad… no worries it is just the colors NOT the flavors that go with this special day. But I bet some jalapeno jello would be kind of fun…lol. Maybe I will have to try that next year.
Make 2 packages of jello per package instructions in two bowls (one red one green). Let jello set up and firm, then cut them into cubes. In a clear serving dish layer the green jello in the bottom in a single layer. Next spread half a container of Cool Whip to form a white layer. On top of the cool whip spread out the red jello cubes, and top with an even layer of cool whip.
Easy as that you have yourself a Cinco de Mayo Jello
